How we started

Our story

Established on March 17th, 2012 as a small team of motivated beginners, eager to take part in a competitive activity.

As is with most beginners, we did not know what to expect but we were determined to try out new things and make new acquaintances along the way. Learning was the key, learning ins and outs of a new hobby. Learning from first hand experiences, learning from others, sometimes failing. Yes, failing, but getting back up and trying again, this time more experienced than before.

We needed to find our own "voice", our identity, our own staple if you will. So, we started with: our own team insignia.

Than came the time to choose our own loadout, our look. So we decided to go back to our core values, to what we hold dear, not only as airsofters but as patriots, as people.

We based our loadout primarily on historic uniforms and equipment used by Croatian Army during the Homeland War of 1990 to 1995, throughout which Croatia won it's independence.

Our main focus was reenactment of the Croatian Army uniforms during the Operation "Storm" which took place between August 4th to August 7th 1995, resulting in a decisive victory of Croatian Armed Forces against the Serb agressors.

We honor our veterans and we thank them for their service.

Where we are today

Going forward

As of recently, we have changed and modernized our team loadout but remained true to reeanctment aspect of our team.

We model our team equipment after Croatian Army Units which were deployed in Afghanistan between 2008 and 2010. again, honoring those who served our country in more recent time.

The first major airsoft events we took part in were:
Legacy of Escobar II , taking place in 2013. and
Operation: Eastern Crisis, taking place in 2014.

Our training

We focus our training primarily on 3 areas of airsoft activities:

Mil-Sim

CQB

Airsoft Events

milsim

Mil-Sim

Stands for "Military Simulation", an aspect of airsoft focusing on simulating actions of military infantry units, in regards to unit movements, used military gear, chain of command and standard procedures.

Simulation aspect is prevelent in all our airsoft activities, from tactics used by each individual member of our team, the team as a coherent unit and on strategic level - meaning: our team as a single unit, working together and coordinating with allied units in the field.

In Mil-Sim training our focus is to achieve the set mission objectives, rather than eliminating the entire opposition.

Certain rules of conduct apply here, such as: chain of command, communications procedures over radio, signaling and rules of engagement in simulated conflicts.

cqb

cqb

CQB or "Close-Quarters Battle" are short range battles between players, done usually within buildings and indoors.

Requires individual and group movements quite different than those used in the outdoors situations.

Coordination, communication and synchronized actions of all team members are vital.

We place special focus on all aspects of CQB, from door breaching procedures, room clearing, building securing to safe exit of the engaged building.

Due to its' short range nature, CQB situations are generally considered risky. Wearing additional face protection is advised.

airsoft events

Airsoft events

We are open to participation in organized airsoft events, as much as we are looking forward to organizing our own events open to all teams and individuals who wish to join and follow the basic rules of airsoft.

Our training also focuses on participating in airsoft events, meaning: we train also for synchronized movements and actions with other allied teams sharing same mission objectives.

Various airsoft events introduce different sets of rules, (although basic airsoft rules still and always apply), therefore we train to adapt to those rules.

Bigger airsoft events usually take place in large open areas, quite bigger then those used for smaller airsoft skirmishes. This means players will be expected to traverse longer distances on foot for a longer periods of time.
We train also for these kinds of conditions, building up our physical stamina and mental fortitude, needed to perform tasks which take much longer to accomplish than that which players usually encounter during small skirmishes.
